冬の日曜の16時。
アイドル時間帯なのに、10人ほどの行列を見た。
そんなに人気のカフェなの？と気になっていた。
その後の平日。
11時の開店時間に行けばゆっくりできるだろうとカフェに向かうが、すでに一人、女性が並んでいた。
平日の開店前から並ぶなんて。人気のカフェなんだな。
北大植物園西エリア。カフェ空白エリアだと思っていたが、先日の999cafeといい、最近は増えているのかな？
と思っているうちに、ボクの後ろにもう一人女性が並ぶ。
開店。店内に入る。
緩やかなアコギの調べ。カントリーぽい。
光のよいビルカフェ。恐らく光は計算されている。
窓枠は鋭利な印影を床に落とし、差し込む光は淡く照らし壁を柔らかに見せる。
11:05 女子大生2人組が入ってきた。
11:11 また一人女性が来店。
instagaramを見ていると、どれもこれも見た目にも楽しいスイーツが投稿されている。
平たく言えば、映えるスイーツで見た感じとても印象はよい。
季節のバスクチーズケーキを注文。
チーズケーキだけど、チョコとのハーモニーが完璧でとてもおいしい。
オレンジコンフィチュールもよいアクセント。
コーヒーにも合う。
11:12 女性二人組がカウンターに。
平日の開店直後12分で店内は満席になった。
11:14 更に女性客が来店。外で待つことに。
晴れているとは言え、2月上旬の札幌。寒い中、待ってでも訪れたいカフェということか。
11:18 さらにカップル来店。外の待合に並ぶ。
店内はボク以外全員若い女性で埋め尽くされている。
慣れていることとは言え、少しは気恥ずかしくも思う。
相当な女性人気のカフェだったのか。でも、それも分かります。
美しくて上質なスイーツを提供してくれるなら。そりゃ人気になりますね。
