#565 ひし伊 (Hakodate)

函館山の麓。
明治38年築の蔵をリノベーションした蔵カフェ。
存在感のある概観ですね。

石川啄木が函館にいた頃には、その妻・節子とも、ご縁があったとのこと。
当時は質店で、土蔵に質草が入りきらなくなったので、大正10年に建て増しされたものだと、ひし伊のwebサイトでは伝えています。

重厚な壁が内と外とをきっちりと分け、中に入るともう異世界。
静かで緩やかなジャズが流れる。
差し込む西日は椅子やテーブルにくっきりとした光と影を描く。
ソファにどっかと坐る。
逆光のカウンターはどこか神々しく。
一瞬時が止まったかのよう。

なんてことを感じながら、白玉あずき抹茶パフェと珈琲のハーモニーを楽しむ。

When Takuboku Ishikawa was in Hakodate, he had a relationship with his wife, Setsuko.
