東京。虎ノ門エリア。1971年オープン。もう50年を超えている。
オフィス街のビルの谷間に突如現れるノスタルジーというか。
東京や大阪のような都市には所々こういう瞬間があるよね。

店内はカウンター6席とボックスが2つと、壁沿いの一人席が2つほど。
狭くて古い。でもいい。
「寝ないでください」と書かれた張り紙。
「タバコは3本まで」というテーブルの張り紙。
こういうマスターの感覚もまた味になる。
カウンターに無造作に置かれた大根も店内の雰囲気に不思議と馴染む。

昼時だったので、タマゴサンドと珈琲とプリンを注文。
タマゴサンドはスタンダードなおいしさ。うまい。

そして。プリン。
最近は珈琲とプリンの組み合わせにハマっていて。。。
長く続く喫茶店の名物プリンと聞けば、興味が出ないハズはない。
うまい。とってもおいしい。
ちゃんと作ったプリン。
プリン自体の甘さはかなり控えめで、カラメルと一緒に食べるのがよい感じ。
少しもっちゃりするまで煮詰めたカラメルの甘さとほろ苦さが絶妙に絡む。
いやーうまい。
そしてこれに、サイフォンで淹れた珈琲を合わせる。たまりません。
