東北カフェツアー。最後のカフェを探して福島県二本松市に来た。
久保丁坂。思いの他の急勾配。徒歩で登る。
息はあがるが、一歩づつカフェの姿が明らかになる。
坂の上の資産家の洋館。
入口に辿り着く。滲む額の汗をひと拭き。
10月の空は高いものの、鮮やかな緑と浮かぶ白雲はボクの気持ちを初夏へと連れ去った。
「風立ちぬ、いざ生きめやも」
避暑地のサナトリウムのバルコンには、病に侵されたうら若き婚約者。
混然一体となった生と死の予感。
その時、鳥が鳴いたように感じた。
行ったこともないサナトリウムへの文学的憧れを半ば現実として体験させてくれたような8月カフェ。
店内に入る前から、達成感を感じさせてくれる佇まい。
この時点でボクはもう大満足で大感激です。
1918年頃、二本松銀行頭取だった田倉孝雄の邸宅として建てられたもの。
大正から昭和にかけて流行っていた様式で、洋館付住宅と呼ぶもののようです。
2018年3月18日。築100年の洋館がカフェとして生まれ変わったというわけです。
店内はもう、写真を見てもらえばその通りの様子。
当時作られた住居としての洋館で。
普通にカフェとして過ごせたことは、とても気分のよいものでした。
なんなら住みたいくらいです。
昼時に行ったわけですが、近所のシニアの方もいらしていましたし、若いカップルも来るなど、すでに地元で話題になっているんだなと感じました。
立地も含めて、隠れ家的カフェですが、カフェ好きな方ならわざわざ行く価値はあると思います。

Although the sky in October is high, the bright greenery and the floating white clouds took my feelings away to early summer.

Sanatorium’s Balcon, a summer resort, is a young fiancé who has been sick.
A feeling of life and death that are mixed together.
When I thought so, I felt like a bird was singing.
It was built around 1918 as the residence of Takao Takura, the president of Nihonmatsu Bank.
It is a style that was popular from the Taisho era to the Showa era, and seems to be called a house with a Western-style building.
March 18, 2018. The 100-year-old Western-style building was reborn as a cafe.
The inside of the store is exactly what you see in the photo.
It was very pleasant to be able to spend time as a cafe in a Western-style building as a residence built at that time.
I want to live there.
I went there at noon, but there were seniors in the neighborhood, and young couples came, so I felt that it was already a hot topic in the local area.
It’s a hideaway cafe, including its location, but if you like cafes, it’s worth the trip.
