#531 六月の鹿 (Morioka)

六月の鹿って。なんでこの名前なんですか？
と聞くと、ふふふと笑って。
「それは。秘密なんです。」
と軽やかに問いかけを受け流してくれたのだが、別に悪い気もせず。
それもまたカフェのそれぞれさねと、モーニング珈琲を美味しくいただいた、10月の六月の鹿。
と書くとなんだかややこしい（笑

盛岡の昭和レトロエリア。櫻山横丁。
近くには盛岡じゃじゃ麺の名店、白龍本店もある。
夜の賑やかさと比べると対照的な繁華街の朝。秋の空。

盛岡藩重臣の屋敷が建ち並び、掘に囲まれていた内丸エリア。
櫻山神社参道は、盛岡城へ向かうかつてのメインストリートで、いわば藩士の通勤ルート。
戦後は闇市として賑わい、飲み屋街に発展。
結果、櫻山神社参道周辺なのに、飲み屋さんが多いという、少し珍しい歴史を持つ櫻山横丁。

古い街のためか、建物の間口は狭いが、奥行は長く。
店内奥の大きな窓からは、盛岡城外堀御池の景色が塩梅のよい借景となっている。
店内に充満する心地よい珈琲の香り。トーストをいただく。
ひとしきり黙って窓の外を眺めた後、福島に向かった。

“June deer”. Why is this name?

The Uchimaru area was surrounded by digging and lined with the residences of the chief retainers of the Morioka domain.
The approach to Sakurayama Shrine is the former main street leading to Morioka Castle, so to speak, the commuting route of the feudal lords.
After the war, it became a black market and developed into a bar.
As a result, Sakurayama Yokocho has a slightly unusual history, with many bars even though it is near the approach to Sakurayama Shrine.

Perhaps because of the old town, the frontage of the building is narrow, but the depth is long.
From the large window at the back of the store, the view of the outer moat of Morioka Castle is a wonderful view.
A pleasant coffee scent that fills the store. Have toast.
After looking out the window for a while, I headed to Fukushima.
