#520 珈琲ハウス館 (Takikawa)

北海道滝川市。1990年に約5万人だった人口も、現在は約3.9万人。
30年で人口は20%減った。
滝川市だけでなく、日本全国どこでも同じようなもの。
駅前のアーケードは寂しい風が吹くばかりで、出歩く人もまばらな上に、だいたいは高齢者。

そんな街にも喫茶店はある。
コーヒーハウス館さんもそういう喫茶店のひとつだ。
滝川でも長年営業されている喫茶店。
深川駅近くの「コーヒーショップ紫苑」のマスターが、親戚からお店を引き継いで運営している喫茶店。
過疎の街の喫茶店だけども、郷愁感があってステキなんです。

入る前から昭和の匂いはプンプンで、店内に入ってもやはり昭和喫茶。
テーブルとなった麻雀ゲーム機の上には、重いガラス製の灰皿が置かれている。
使い込まれたシルバーのシュガー＆ミルクポット。
年季の入った薔薇柄の赤銅色のソファ。
おしゃれなんだかどうか分からない三角形のお皿は今も現役で。
70代と思しき女性二人組がよもやま話に興じている。
なにもかもが、かつての賑わいを感じさせてくれる。
色あせてゆく思い出のような喫茶店をまさに体験している。
嗚呼！素晴らしき昭和喫茶！

A coffee shop run by the master of “Coffee Shop Shien” near Fukagawa Station, taking over the shop from relatives.
It’s a coffee shop in a depopulated city, but it has a nostalgic feeling and is wonderful.

Even before I entered the store, it was full of Showa atmosphere, and even when I entered the store, it was still a Showa cafe.
The mahjong game machine is the table. A heavy glass ashtray is placed on it.
A well-used silver sugar and milk pot.
A bronze sofa with a rose pattern with a season.
Triangular plates that I don’t know if they are fashionable are still active.
A female duo who seems to be in their 70s is enjoying the story.
Everything makes you feel the bustle of the past.
I am now experiencing a coffee shop that is like a fading memory.
Oh! Wonderful Showa cafe!
