#501 甘味喫茶きく (Koyasan)

2020年晩秋。節目の旅も後半戦。
高野山にやってきた。
標高800m。12月上旬。札幌にいるかのような寒さだ。

高野山は「孔雀王」にハマった中学生の頃から来てみたかった場所ｗ
憧れは案外安直なもの。
ようやく訪れることができ。
感激しまくりました。
そこらじゅうにある国宝。美しすぎる仏教美術。奥の院の静寂。
全部ボクは満足です。
弘法大師御廟は撮影禁止なのだけど、行ってみるとなんとなく撮影禁止の理由が分かったように思います。

ひとしきり高野山を満喫したら、やはりカフェ。
高野山にもステキそうなカフェがいくつかあったのですが、生憎コロナかなにかで休業相次ぎ。

甘味喫茶きくさんで冷えた体を温めました。
オシャレなカフェもいいけども。
こういう渋～い喫茶店で、ぜんざいをいただく。
よいですよ。
ぜんざいの塩昆布。いい塩梅すぎます。

Late autumn 2020. The commemorative trip is also the second half.
I came to Koyasan.
800m above sea level. It was early December, but the feeling was close to the cold in Sapporo.

Koyasan. A place I’ve wanted to visit since I was a junior high school student who was enthusiastic about “Peacock King”.
I was deeply moved.
National treasures all over the place. Buddhist art that is too beautiful. The silence of Okunoin.
I’m all satisfied.
Kobo Daishi Mausoleum is forbidden to shoot, but when I went there, I think I somehow understood the reason for the prohibition.

After enjoying Koyasan for a while, it’s still a cafe.
There were some nice cafes on Koyasan, but they were closed one after another due to the unpleasant corona.

I warmed my cold body with a sweet coffee shop.
A fashionable cafe is good, though.
At such an astringent coffee shop, you can have Zenzai.
It’s good.
Zenzai salt kelp. It’s too good salt plum.
