以前、メフィストフェレスというカフェを見つけ、今回見つけたのがファウスト。
思わず店員さんに「メフィストフェレスと同じ系列のカフェですか？」と聞いた所、その通りだと、パスポートサイズの「ディクショナリー」という冊子をいただきました。
現代企業社さん。高知県内で17店舗くらいカフェやレストランといった飲食店を運営されています。
このファウストが創業のお店だそうで、創業は1958年。
当初は「ショパン」という名前だったとのこと。
その後、増築時「第一」に名前を変え、大改築の際に「ファウスト」と、今の名前になったとのことです。
繁華街のカフェ。
昔からの馴染みのお客さんも見かけられ、愛されているんだなと感じました。
