#198 cafe tsukikoya (Yokosuka)

京急本線金沢八景駅から一駅隣の追浜駅下車徒歩20分ほど。
送電線の鉄塔そびえる小高い山の上。数寄屋造りの一軒家。

月小屋？
山の上だし。
月を愛でるのに造られた風流小屋だったのかなと思いきや。
女性の月経の期間中、女性が家族から離れて別居生活をした小屋。
これが月小屋の言われなんだそうです。
かつて、東海地方から西日本にかけてそういう文化があったそうです。
こちらのカフェは昔はそうやって利用されていた小屋をリノベーションして始まったそうです。
とは言え、人里離れた山の上の一軒家なので、月夜の晩はしっとりとした風情になると思います。

予約なしで行ってみたのですが、行く前には予約をした方がいいです。
駐車場もないのでお店の方も予約をお勧めしておりました。

古民家カフェですが、建物そのものに文化的な背景があると、味わいや奥行きが広がります。
次回。いつ行くかは分かりませんが。春のおぼろ月の頃に行きたいなぁと思いました。

It’s located near the Kikyu Honsen, Kanazawa-Hakkei station.
It takes 20 minutes from Oppama station.
The cafe is located on a hill. There are a lot of poles with power cable.

Was it cabin for watchin moon?
That was up on the hill. I thought it was a cabin when we see the moon.
When women menstruat, they stay away from their family and stay there.
It was the origin of cabin for watching moon.
Once, from Tohoku area to West Japan area, there were something like the culture.
This cafe, that cabin was renovated to cafe.
Anyways, it is cabin on the hill. Somethimes you can see great night sky.

If you are plannning to go to there, you should make a reservation.
There is no parking lot.

It is old style cafe, but building has culture background.
You can feel deep taste and atmosphere.
Next time, I’m not sure if I go or not, but I wanna visite there in spring seasons.
